We offer a seamless journey from Pre A1 Starters to C2 Proficiency. Each exam is carefully designed to consolidate the skills developed at the previous level, and lay the foundations for future success.

Pre A1 Starters is the first of three Cambridge English Qualifications designed for young learners. These tests introduce learners to everyday written and spoken English and are an excellent way for them to gain confidence and improve their English.
The tests are written around familiar topics and focus on the skills needed to communicate effectively in English through listening, speaking, reading and writing.

Learning Pre A1 Starters at GI-EQP  can help you take the first step towards:

  • understanding basic English content on the internet
  • enjoying books, songs, television and films in English
  • making friends globally.
A1 Movers is the second of three Cambridge English Qualifications designed for young learners. These tests introduce Learners to everyday written and spoken English and are an excellent way for them to gain confidence and improve their English.
The tests are written around familiar topics and focus on the skills needed to communicate effectively in English through listening, speaking, reading and writing.

A1 Movers by GI-EQP can help you:

  • understand basic instructions or take part in simple conversations
  • understand basic notices, instructions or information
  • complete basic forms and write notes, including times, dates and places.
A2 Flyers is the third of three Cambridge English Qualifications designed for young learners. These tests introduce learners to everyday written and spoken English and are an excellent way for them to gain confidence and improve their English.
The tests are written around familiar topics and focus on the skills needed to communicate effectively in English through listening, speaking, reading and writing.

With GI, A2 Flyers can help the learner:

  • understand simple written English
  • communicate in familiar situations
  • understand and use basic phrases and expressions
  • interact with English speakers who talk slowly and clearly.
An A2 Key for Schools qualification shows that a student can use English to communicate in simple situations. It’s a logical next step after our Cambridge English Qualifications designed for young learners and a good place for older Learners to start learning English too.
The exam gives students the confidence to go on to study for higher-level English exams, such as B1 Preliminary for Schools.
A2 Key for Schools is targeted at the same CEFR level as A2 Key, but with content aimed at school-age learners rather than adults.

An A2 Key for Schools qualification shows that a student can:

  • understand and use basic phrases and expressions
  • understand simple written English
  • introduce themselves and answer basic questions about themselves
  • interact with English speakers at a basic level.
A B1 Preliminary for Schools qualification shows that a student has mastered the basics of English and now has practical language skills for everyday use.
This exam is the logical step in a student’s language learning journey between A2 Key for Schools and B2 First for Schools.
B1 Preliminary for Schools is targeted at the same CEFR level as B1 Preliminary but with content aimed at school-age learners rather than adults.

A B1 Preliminary for Schools qualification shows that a student can:

  • read simple textbooks and articles in English
  • write letters and emails on everyday subjects
  • understand factual information
  • show awareness of opinions and mood in spoken and written English.
A B2 First for Schools qualification shows that a student has the language skills they need to communicate in an English-speaking environment.
It’s also a great way to prepare for higher-level exams such as C1 Advanced.
B2 First for Schools is targeted at the same CEFR level as B2 First but with content aimed at school-age learners rather than adults.

A B2 First for Schools qualification shows that students can:

  • communicate effectively face to face, expressing opinions and presenting arguments
  • write clear, detailed English, expressing opinions and explaining the advantages and disadvantages of different points of view
  • follow the news
  • write letters, reports, stories and lots of other types of text.
This is proof of high-level achievement in English and the ideal qualification for students preparing for university or professional life.
More than 9,000 educational institutions, businesses and government departments around the world accept C1 Advanced as proof of high-level achievement in learning English. 
Preparing for C1 Advanced helps learners develop the skills to make the most of studying, working and living in English-speaking countries.
This exam is the logical step in your language learning journey between B2 First and C2 Proficiency.

A C1 Advanced qualification shows that you can:

  • follow an academic course at university level
  • communicate effectively at a managerial and professional level
  • participate with confidence in workplace meetings or academic tutorials and seminars
  • express yourself with a high level of fluency.
This is our highest level qualification and it shows the world your learners have mastered English to an exceptional level.
A C2 Proficiency qualification shows the world that you have mastered English to an exceptional level. It proves you can communicate with the fluency and sophistication of a highly competent English speaker.
Preparing for and passing the exam means you have the level of English that’s needed to study or work in a very senior professional or academic environment, for example on a postgraduate or PhD programme.

A C2 Proficiency qualification by GI-EQP will assure that you can:

  • study demanding subjects at the highest level, including postgraduate and PhD programmes
  • negotiate and persuade effectively at senior management level in international business settings
  • understand the main ideas of complex pieces of writing
  • talk about complex or sensitive issues, and deal confidently with difficult questions.
